"Tomorrow is always fresh" print

Some days are go great; others...well they don't always go so well. We mess up, someone else messes up. We try and either succeed or fail. On the days that don't go according to plan it's nice to know we can start again afresh tomorrow. There are some days I definitely wish I could have a do over. On those days I have been consciously trying to ask God to help me turn the day around and give it to him. All my expectations, all my plans, all my hopes and all my desires. When I do, I realize that I was never in control to begin with and that God has so much grace for me to start a fresh even in that moment.

If you are a die hard Anne of Green Gables fan like me, you will have already have heard this quote. If not you need to become one;) If you read my post last week about all my plans not going according to plan; you will know that I can totally relate to Anne... and I think you can too. I hope you will print this
out and put it up somewhere you can see it all the time, so that you can be reminded on those days when nothing is going right, that you can start afresh tomorrow with a blank slate! ( or even the rest of the day;)

How do we do this? By asking God for forgiveness and grace to do what we can't do in our own strength. He is so faithful to forgive us and fill us with hope and strength to face tomorrow!

  10. Not just every day, but every moment. The amazing thing is that, two thousands years ago, our sins were wiped clean - once and for all time. Rest in the forgiveness that's already there.
